    Robotics

    3. Robotics

CHC designs and integrates turnkey robotic systems that are ideal for automating repetitive, labor-intensive and unique processing operations.

Solutions span across robotic arm palletizing and movement, collaborative robots, AGVs, AMRs, ASRS, and shuttle systems. By matching the right technology to your operation, robotic automation can increase throughput and accuracy, reduce product damage and labor demands, and fill in operational gaps that other equipment can't bridge optimally.

    ROBOTIC TRANSPORT Robotic Arm Shuttle

    Mobile Ground Robot

Automated and autonomous warehouse transport vehicles

    Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV)

    ROBOTIC TRANSPORT

Using triangulation, the AGV’s are guided through the facility to perform their required tasks, avoiding damage to the building, the product, or the equipment. AGV systems also increase the safety of the work environment. Using AGV systems with palletizing systems allows complete ”end of line” automation, resulting in cost savings and significant improvements in production management.

    Autonomous Mobile Vehicle (AMR)

    ROBOTIC TRANSPORT
    autonomous_mobile_vehicle_amr_description_image_chc_robotics_equipment-1
An Autonomous Mobile Vehicle (AMR) functions much like an AGV for warehouse transportation, but instead of traveling on a set path, these systems map the facility environment and can move freely. This is ideal for GTP operations or complex processes that require varying movement conditions. Using LiDAR and data logic; AMRs "see" the facility around them, and make route based on this data.

    Robotic Arm

Arms designed to build/break pallets, provide specialized product handling and movement.

    Palletizer

    ROBOTIC ARM
    palletizer_description_image_chc_robotic_arm_equipment-1
Palletizers are robotic arms that automatically palletize or depalletize product for processing. Deployed along a infeed/outfeeding line within a caged cell, these arms use a variety of end-of-arm tooling to lift and process items

    Overhead Gantry

    ROBOTIC ARM

Gantry Robots provide an efficient way of palletizing multiple pallets, handling large payloads, and achieving high rates. Gantry Palletizers are able to handle a variety of products including cases, bags, and drums.

    Cobot

    ROBOTIC ARM
    cobot_description_image_chc_robotic_arm_equipment
Cobots are robotic arm units that can safely work in tandem with a warehouse associate. This is ideal for order fulfillment, specialized sortation, or quality control processes. Cobots do not require a cell and use an array of sensors and low-speed movements to complete tasks with human staff.

    End-of-Arm Robotic Handling

    ROBOTIC ARM

Robotic arms can be outfitted with a variety of end-of-arm tooling to gently handle and move product. These can come in the form of vacuum suction cups, grippers, articulating flanges, or a combination of the latter.

    Shuttle Systems

Robotic picking, storage, and retrieval systems that travel within a structure

    Automated Storage & Retrieval System

    SHUTTLE
    automated_storage_retrieval_asrs_description_image_chc_robotics_equipment-1

Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems use computer-controlled equipment to place and retrieve products from high-density storage locations. Solutions include unit-load, mini-load, pallet shuttle, crane-based and vertical lift systems for handling pallets, cases, totes or individual items. ASRS technology maximizes available space, increases inventory accuracy and throughput, reduces manual travel and supports safer, more efficient warehouse operations.

    Piece Picking Shuttle

    SHUTTLE
    piece_picking_shuttle_description_image_chc_robotics_equipment

Piece picking shuttle systems automatically transport totes, cartons or inventory trays between storage locations and picking stations. Available in single- or multi-level configurations, these systems support goods-to-person picking, order consolidation and high-volume fulfillment workflows. By continuously delivering the correct products to operators, shuttle systems reduce walking and search time, improve picking speed and accuracy, and scale easily as order volumes or storage requirements increase.
